Lizzy's fun week at Michigan
Hi, my name is Lizzy McLaughlin. I'm going to tell you about my week at Michigan. I had lots of fun in Michigan. I will tell you what I did each day.
Day 1: We drove most of the day to Michigan. When we got at the house my family and I got out of the car. We went in the house and look around the house. My sister and I share a room. The beds were cool. The beds was like this a bed on top. Then, their was space for are cloths. Last, the bomttom bed. After, we unloaded the car we went to the beach. We play in the sand, but not the water. Last, we went home and have good night sleep. ( for some of us.)

Jack: TV Nights
I had fun spending time with my family. I liked everyone in our family watching Gold Rush on Friday night after the twins went to bed. I liked watching it because Parker reached 1000 ounces of gold. I'm glad I have a big a family to play with and never get bored. I liked watching The Little Mermaid with the family on Saturday night, too. We had hot chocolate after the Little Girls went to bed. I got really tired after we watched the movie and drank hot chocolate. I can't wait until the next time we watch a TV show together.
Mary Christine: Garden Club
We went to Garden Club and got donuts. We found our seat and decorated our pot with foam stickers. Then we waited for the next directions. We got plants and planted them in our pots. Mom took our picture with our plants as a family. We went home.
Lizzy: Snow Day!!!
Today William, Patrick, Jack, Mary Christine, Sarah, Anna, Kate, and I played in the snow. Everybody went sledding in the backyard, then William, Patrick, Jack and I played football, baseball, and soccer. I had fun playing with my brothers and sisters in the snow. After a while my hands and feet got really cold. I went into the house, put on new gloves and socks, then went back outside. I went on the swing for a little while. The kids started going inside, so I went inside, too. I had fun in the snow.
Patrick: Disney World
Day 1: We stayed at our condo the first day so we could rest up for the next day. Our condo was awesome and we had decent space for our family. The food we had was good, too.
Day 2: We went to Magic Kingdom and it was a blast. We first went exploring and took our picture in front of the castle. Next, we got our fast passes to go on some rides. We went to Space Mountain first and it was really fun. Then we went to Big Thunder. It was not as fun but slower and not as many drops. Our third ride was A Small World for my mom. We stayed really late and went on different rides.
Day 3: We went to Magic Kingdom again and did the same thing except our fast pass was for some other ride mom wanted to do. Again Space Mountain was the best.
Day 4: We went to Animal Kingdom and went on some really fun rides. We went on this one ride called Safari where we went on a really fast bumpy road through water and seeing animals really close to us. Then we went to Mount Everest which was probably the best ride. On it, we went backwards. We went on that at least 17 times in a row. Then we went to a dinosaur ride which was really fun, too.
Day 5: We went back to Magic Kingdom and did the usual rides. Believe it or not Space Mountain was kind of boring. Even though the day was really fun, it wasn't as fun as the other days.
Day 6: We went to Hollywood Studios which was very fun. We rode The Rocking Roller Coaster which was very fast and fun and a little terrifying. Then we went to The Movie Ride. It was fun because our guides were funny. Then we went to The Tower of Terror which was terrifying and very, very scary. That sums up our vacation. It was awesome.
Day 7: I went to my game early in the morning and we lost to the Brazilian team. We then waited until noon to play our semi finals game. Even though we lost, we still had the best record in our bracket, therefore allowing us to advance to semifinals and then the championship. I was really looking forward to the game and our team played great. But we had one mistake that cost us the game. We could not finish our shots either. We lost 1 to 0. The team we lost to, went on to the championship and won 3 to 0. Then we went home for our 16 hour drive. We arrived at three in the morning. It was a really great and fun experience.

William: Disney World
Day 1: Car Ride
The most memorable times, when we were driving to Disney World, was seeing all these cool cars go by and listening to music the whole way.
Day 2: First Day at Magic Kingdom
The most memorable time at the first day at Magic Kingdom was going on Space Mountain for the first time. I was a little nervous because last time I was scared to go on it. After going on it, it was the best ride there. Even better than Big Thunder.
Day 3: Animal Kingdom
The most memorable time at Animal Kingdom was going on Expedition Everest. I watched the ride go by a few times and thought this was too scary for me. I still wanted to go on it. The scariest part was going backwards and I had no idea what was going to happen. This ride ended up being the best ride so far.
Day 4: Magic Kingdom
The best moment during day 4 was going on all of the rides and getting Jack not to be scared of the rides. My favorite ride at Magic Kingdom is Space Mountain.
Day 5: Magic Kingdom
It was kinda boring the first part of the day because the little girls got to do all of the their fun stuff while we rode one ride and ate lunch. It got really fun when we got the fast passes for the rest of the day so we got to go on any ride we wanted. The best part was when Sarah was driving the car and saying, "We're gonna win. We're gonna beat Beanie."
Day 6:Hollywood Studios
Patrick had his first game today and we had to stay home and hang out for a while. Mom said that when Patrick gets back we could go to Hollywood Studios. I was waiting for this for a long time. The best part about it was seeing The Big Hat and riding the Rockin' Roller Coaster. The 0-60 part was so weird and scary...I loved the upside down parts, too.
Day 7: Last day at Disney
Patrick couldn't go this day because he had two soccer games. So it was only the 4 older kids. It was pretty fun. We got to ride all of the rides I wanted and had a really fun time. I was kind of sad when we left. The most memorable moment was when we left.
Day 8: Driving Home
We all had to pack up and had to drive all the way back to St.Louis. 16 Hours. I didn't want to leave. At least I had my iPad. We kept driving until 12am and that's when I knew we were driving the rest throughout the night. The most memorable part was when everyone got to get a desserts at McDonalds and sharing with everyone.
Mary Christine: Disney World
The car trip was OK because we were in the car for about twenty-four hours. So we were in the car for the whole day Sunday and until 4:00 on Monday. I found a bunch of things to do. The first day was fun because we ran in the Kellers. I saw my best friends. Their names are Maya and Katie. They are very nice. Maya and I played a game while Mom and Dad were working on plans for the rest of the day. Then Katie and I went on The People Mover. The second day, we went to Animal Kingdom. I went on Mount Everest, it was REALLY SCAREY! At the end of the day, there was a storm. It was a long night. And we made it back to the car with the storm still going on. And no one got hurt, we were very happy!

Jack: Disney World
The car trip to Disney World:
In the car, when we were driving to Disney World, I liked when we were having a good time. We drove so long we had go to a hotel. At the hotel, I liked that we ate popcorn for dinner at midnight. In the morning, I felt great. I got a good rest. For breakfast, I had two pancakes. We packed up and hit the road. We just had to drive five more hours. We made it to our condo at six o clock. It did not look like the house on the computer.
The first day at Magic Kingdom:
We had lots to do: we had to unload the car, get ready and drive to Magic Kingdom. When we got there, we had to ride a ferry boat to Magic Kingdom. I had a good view. It was warm in the day time and cold at night. We were at Magic Kingdom all day. At first, we saw a play of Dreams Come True. Then we went to Space Mountain. It was scarey at first, but then I got the hang of it. Then, we went to A Small World. There were singing dolls. My sisters, Anna, Sarah and Kate really liked it.We were going to do it again, but we ran in to the Kellers. I got to see my friends. The rest of the day was awesome.
Animal Kingdom:
We went on a train. It was cool to see animals and stuff like that. Then I got to do a Book of Bugs. Next, we had to ride the train back to where we started. The Safari came next and it was fun. My favorite part was going on the road and seeing the animals. After lunch, we went on Mount Everest and it was scarey, really scarey.
The Third Day:
We had pop tarts in the car for breakfast. When we got to the Magic Kingdom, we went to Space Mountain and went on it a lot. It was a good day again.
Hollywood Studio:
We got to go on the Rock'in Roller Coaster. It was so cool but scarey. We went on a move ride. It was awesome. After that, we got to see The Muppet's in 3D. It was cool. Then, we went on The Tower of Terror. We went on it two times. It was scary.

Lizzy: Disney World
Off to Disney World we go! The car trip to Disney World was not bad. I sat next to the twins. It was not bad to sit next to the twins. On the 1st day at Disney World, we ran into the Kellers. (The Kellers are my mom's friends.) We went on some rides with the Kellers .The rides were Space Mountain and The People Mover. Also, we watched the fire works with the Kellers, too.
The next day, we went to Animal Kingdom. It was cool. We went on a ride called Everest! I was scared. The trip back to the car was bad because we all got wet. It was raining cats and dogs!
The second to last day, we went to Hollywood Studio . Patrick, Jack ,and I went on The Tower of Terror. I was scared to death! The ride went up and down, up and down, up to the top and straight down!!!!!! The Rochin Roller Coaster was awesome. We went upside down and it was like a speed way to the band concert.
The way home from Disney World was bad because the window was broken and we didn't get home until 3:30 the next morning. I stayed up all night until we got home.
