Lizzy: Gold Rush

Hi Guys,

It's me...Lizzy...I am going to talk to you about the TV show, Gold Rush.  Every Friday night, my family and I watch Gold Rush.  Gold Rush is a show where three crews try and find gold in Alaska.  At the end of the season, one of the three crews will have have found the Mother Load...that is the "Jackpot of Gold".  My favorite crew is the Indian River Crew...I think they are the ones who will get the Mother Load...I like them because the find lots of gold...their best clean up was 200 ounces.  I think their total for the year so far is 729 ounces.

Jack: First Reconciliation

Reconciliation

On my first reconciliation day, I got to sing You Alone Are Holy. It was fun. I learn that I could go and help out. So I listened to the priest. They played a game. They played Mom and Son.
The priest was the son. And the mom was a girl.
Soon after that I had to go to a priest and say all my sins and God forgives my sins.  That is the cool part.  After that they blessed me.  It feels good to be blessed by the priest and God.
It feels clean to be blessed by God.  I love you, God .

Mary Christine: Gardening Club

  Here we go to gardening club!!!...

Do you like gardening  club?  We make  crafts. It is fun. We made bird food ornaments, suet, and bird feeders.

Jack: Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning we took pictures. Then Baby Kate opened her presents. She got a Christmas toy.  Then my sister Anna opened her presents. They looked cool . Then it was my sister's time to open her presents.  They were cool, too. It was my sister Mary's time to open her presents. They were cool, too.  Then it was my time to open my presents.  They were cool, too.  I got a large box of cool stuff.  I got an Air Hog Helicopter, then I got Spy Gear, and I got Spy Glasses and cars.

Lizzy: Ice Skating With Abby

On the January 3 and 4, I went ice skating with my cousin, Abby. My grandma took Abby and me. We put on our ice skates. This was my 1st time ice skating! Abby and I went around the rink a couple of times.  I bonked my head on the ice, but I was OK.  In the middle, Abby and I went off the wall and back on the wall.  At the end of the first half, Abby and I were off the wall and going around the rink.  In the second half, Abby and I were off the wall and it was AMAZING!!!  We saw an amazing ice skater.  I love to ice skate.  You should try it too!!!

Mary Christine: Christmas Morning

Christmas morning I woke up and played with my family until it was time to go downstairs for pictures!!!
After the pictures I came to see the tree and the tree was full of presents around it.  We opened our presents, youngest to oldest.  I go after Anna and Sarah.  Santa always brings me a Webkinz.  I love Webkinz.  This year, I got Scrabble, a Barbie Princess Ariel, a white Webinz dog, and an American Girl Doll Dress to match my doll, Makenna's outfit from Queeny.  My sister, Liz, opened her presents after Jack.  When everyone was finished, I gave Mom and Dad a candle and rocks I decorated myself.
