Jack: Going To Garden Club

At Gardening Club, we do cool stuff. We go to Gardening Club every month with our family. It is at a gardening club place. I love to play in the car. When we get there, we go in to the place we have to go to. When we are in the building, we sign in so we can go to the cool stuff. The cool stuff is a Christmas gift. We got to choose our own donut.  It was good. We ate our sweet. We got our stuff to make our Christmas gift.  First we have to have a block of soil. Then we have to have a tree branch to put in the soil. I like to put stuff on my Christmas gift. I love to put a man on my gift. It was a baseball man. When it was done, it looks cool. I took it home. It was cool. Lizzy: Christmas Decorations

Hi, I'm Lizzy McLaughlin.  I am going to tell you about the Christmas decorations.

On Sunday, my family and I put Christmas decorations around my house. My brother, William, and I put the decorations outside. My family and I put on the Christmas lights on the Christmas tree.  I hope  you liked it!

Mary Christine: Christmas Party

 Hi my name is Mary Christine. I saw a magic guy when I said, "hey, you are holding the box sideways!"  He said, "hey, you are holding the box sideways!" in a squeeky voice.  And he opened the box and the square was in the magic box.

When Santa came I brought Anna over to the steps and Santa was coming down the steps.  Anna and I gave Santa a BIGGGGGG HUG!!!!

When it was my family's turn to take a picture with Santa, I was the one who was sitting in Santa's lap.  I snuggled with Santa in the picture with my head on his chest.

William: My Dad's Holiday Party

Hello, my name is William Mclaughlin.  I am the oldest of 8 children and I love it.  On December 8th, 2012, My family and I, went to Glen Echo County Club to celebrate the hollidays with my dad's law firm.  Stepping into the grand entrance I saw, people flooding the rooms, the smell of cheese and crackers, and the sound of glass cups clinging together like bells.  We found ourselves a nice, big table to sit at and went off to talk to the others.  I watched the magic show with the other kids that where there then sat down for dinner.  The dinner was fantastic with chicken fingers, toasted ravioli, and beef serloin.  Yum.  Shortly after dinner, I heard the sounds of bells clinging and the voice of a man in a big red suit saying,"Ho Ho Ho"  My little sister Mary Christine will finish the details about the man in the red suit.

Patrick: Chick-Fil-A

            Hello my name is Patrick Mclaughlin, and I want to share an adventure my family participated in. My family went to have breakfast with santa at Chick-Fil-A at the West County Mall on November 17, 2012. First we found a table and then we got in line to take pictures with santa. It wasn't as boring as I thought it was going to be, because we got to enjoy ourselves by watching the humans dressed in these ridiculous outfits. My favorite was the really tall cow, but my 2 little sisters liked the smaller chicken which they could hug at the waist. After waiting in line for about 5 minutes it was our turn to get our picture with santa. Once my mom got in her pictures we were able to go get our food, which was delicious. We had these biscuits with little chicken nuggets which were very good, but the fuuny thing is I liked the bread 3 times as much as the chicken. Finally we were done eating and could get in the car and drive home, which I am sure my parents wanted to do too.
